It still has flaws that may challenge desktop administrators. Before you decide to conduct a buy cheap microsoft software install, be aware of issues with file extensions and workarounds such as bypassing the begiing screen. Let us take a look at some potential snags with Office 2013.

Back up all data, including Outlook .pst files. Make sure to uninstall that old version of Office if one is already present. (You are able to, however, do a side-by-side installation, but it will have problems with Outlook; more on that in a moment.)

It's also wise to run Windows Update, temporarily disable antivirus software and run the Office 2013 install as a user with administrative rights.

When the cheap office 2013 install hangs between 80% and 90%, the print spooler services are probably interfering. Run Services.msc, locate the print spooler item, click Stop after which click OK. Resume cellular phone, and don't forget to restart the service after it completes. If the installation hangs at 94%, restart the pc and resume, if prompted, or start over.

You may also attempt to work through an installation hang by performing a repair. Open User interface, select Programs and Features, choose the Microsoft Office 2013 product you're trying to install within the list, and choose Change on the menu bar. Then select Online Repair.
